Meet Dr. Liz Orchard, ND
Dr. Liz Orchard is Chief Naturopathic Doctor, CEO and founder of Be Well Natural Medicine. After graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in pre-medical studies from the University of St. Thomas (2001), Dr. Orchard earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (2008), with honors, from the oldest fully accredited Naturopathic medical school, National College of Natural Medicine, in Portland, Oregon. During the five years of Naturopathic medical training, she completed extensive hands-on clinical training with experts in the field of natural medicine, with an emphasis on women’s health and endocrine disorders. She has also studied various forms of mind-body medicine, including homeopathy, meditation, energy healing, and Qi Gong.
Dr. Orchard was the resident ND at an integrative medicine clinic in New York City from 2008 to 2009, where her focus was preventive medicine, digestive disorders, and integrative cancer care.
In September 2009, she returned to her Minnesota roots to start her private practice which soon blossomed into Be Well Natural Medicine. When she's not seeing patients or running the clinic, Dr. Orchard enjoys teaching or taking Qoya classes at Four Gates Physical and Energetic Culture, strength training at The Powerhouse at Highland, music, travel, cooking, and spending time with family and friends – especially her husband and their 2 children.
